Dani Girl is a J/120 racer/cruiser based out of Balboa Yacht Club in Newport Beach, California. Our mission is to support and grow the sport of big boat sailing by opening it up to a diverse and inclusive group of sailors. We believe in giving back to the community by sharing our passion, knowledge, and opportunities with the next generation of sailors.

Sailing Races
1We sail around BYC. Join our WhatsApp groups. We maintain two lists of 12+ racers and 45+ sailors and we also trade opportunities with other boats in fleet. You know how to find us at BYC.
2Let us (mostly Tim and Colon) know when you want to go. They assemble the crew and let you know if you are on. It takes a village to build a good crew. Spots are not guaranteed. We need to balance the crew and you might have to wait for your turn.
3Don't bring too much gear. We need to trim down weight to race and don't need a crowded ship. Bring the essentials. This includes a good spirit, and some goodies to share.
4Now you are hooked and will become part of the family. 🙂
Offshore racing on big boats is certainly the best part of life. Just need to master it a bit more.
